How to read the political crisis in Italy

The new italian Political Crisis has been different compared to the previous one since The Beginning.

First of all the Timing.  The Crisis has been Opened just before an Holiday  period started. Where Only in the so called first Republic the politician did so, but in very different context. In fact there was only one governing party - the Christian democratic - that was the problem and the Solution at the same time. With the opposition party, the Comunist part, in a position to limit some excess and creating discipline.

Today the situation is different. The evolution of the Political situation is Linked to a single person, not to a party. The opposition is not there to limit or control but it is trying to find its route.

Second point. No external help. This time Italy is alone to solve its problem. As the rest of the world has other problems to deal with.

Third point. The old political generation is still there not so powerful as in the past, but still in a position to influence the result. This is a good news.
